According to the 8th Annual Employment Outlook Survey, 55% of public employers are planning to hire for new positions in 2012, compared to 48% in 2011. A few companies expecting to hire 500 or more employees are Starbucks, Deloitte, Amazon and State Farm Insurance.
A national law firm asked 330 employees in the U.S. if they felt their employer treats them fairly. Their responses: 44% “Mostly,” 34% “Sometimes,” 17% “Rarely,” and 5% “Never.”
